Like everything else in the world, this year’s draft has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Typically, the MLB Draft consists of 40 rounds, but this year’s draft will feature just 5.

Last night, the first round was completed and rounds 2-5 will take place tonight. When the draft ends, teams can sign an unlimited number of undrafted free agents for a signing bonus of up to $20,000.
