In August, when Tubb announced his intention to run for election, he described himself in a Facebook post asa Conservative Republican who would always support policies that are pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, and protect religious freedoms.

Tubb said, “As a member of the business community, I will work to promote pro-business policies and support economic development and growth in our area.I understand the current business climate and challenges we are facing right now. I know how important the decisions that are being made everyday are to our business owners and those who depend on us.As a father, I will always be a strong advocate for education, and most importantly our teachers. Our teachers deserve more pay. They also deserve to have their voices heard during this pandemic.”
