This is the biggest spike of numbers we have seen on a day to day basis.  This week is also supposed to be the week that Mississippi hits its peak.

As of now, 37,733 people have been tested for the virus across the state.

Issaquena County is still the only county that does not have a positive case of the virus.

Only 28% of people are being hospitalized who have the virus.

As always, please remember to wash your hands frequently, wear a mask, and stay 6 ft away from other people.

Governor Tate Reeves issued a shelter-in-place order on Friday, April 3rd to last until Monday, April 20th.  This limits travel and work to essential  only. You can still go to the grocery store and to restaurants to pick up food, but please practice social distancing.

Governor Reeves also made the decision to keep schools closed for the remainder of the semester but encourages everyone to keep up with distance learning.
