Harrison County Deputies Need Help Identifying A Serial Killer’s Victim

posted in: Mississippi News | 0

Samuel Little was a serial killer who has killed around 93 people across the county.  His favorite target  – women.  He has been labeled by the FBI as the most prolific serial killer in US history.

Little has confessed to multiple murders since he’s been in prison including five from the Gulfport, MS area.  Three of the five have been identified but two remain unknown.

Due to Little’s photographic memory, he can remember the clothing, the weather, skin tone and other eerie details from the majority of his killings.  Because of this memory, he has been able to sketch out portraits of the women he has killed in the clothing he abducted them in.

One of the two unknown victims he killed in Gulfport is being turned over to the public in hopes to identify her.  This happened around December of 1992.

Details about the unknown victim are:

  • African American
  • Female
  • Early to mid 20?s
  • Last seen at/near a bar in the North Gulfport area.
  • Went missing or was murdered before December 1992.
  • The body was placed outdoors in a grassy area somewhere in Gulfport.

The Harrison County police say if you recognize her or remember someone going missing during that time to please contact them at 228-896-0678.

Samuel Little is serving three life sentences without the possibility of parole currently in California.

If you have any information about this woman or information possibly regarding Samuel Little please contact the Harrison County Sherriff’s Office.
