The Mississippi State Department of Health is reporting the state’s highest one-day rise in new COVID-19 cases since August 19th.†
1,322 new cases bring the stateís total up to 108,139. With the confirmation of *12 additional deaths, 3,152 Mississippians have now passed away from the virus.†

State health officials continue to stress the importance of wearning a mask despite the absence of a statewide mask mandate.
